The Planning Process

There are few events in life people face with more apprehension than the death of someone they love. At the same time, there are few urges more profound than the need to commemorate our loved ones, to celebrate their lives, and to mourn their passing. We are dedicated to helping individuals create a good-bye ceremony (whether public or private) that provides true, personal meaning to family and friends.

The basic elements of the process are:

  • Discussing your needs and expectations
  • Recording personal, family, and life story information
  • Planning appropriate services and ceremonies to remember and celebrate the life in a meaningful way
  • Selecting ceremonial products appropriate to your choices
  • Reviewing and summarizing ceremonial choices and financial matters
  • Providing an overview of services, ceremonies, service folder and details relating to arrangements

At Butler Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center, there is no such thing as a “standard” planning conference. We work with you to custom-tailor the meeting to meet your specific needs and unique desires. Our caring team of specialists will guide you through the planning process and will offer a shoulder to lean on every step of the way.
