Butler Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center is proud to partner with Land of Lincoln Honor Flight to conduct Operation Honor Flight Day of Giving—a community fundraiser to benefit Land of Lincoln Honor Flight and the veterans they serve.


The mission of Land of Lincoln Honor Flight is to provide round trip transportation from Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield, Illinois for veterans (WWII, Korea Era, and Vietnam Era) who wish to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C. These one-day trips include both air and ground transportation, meals, and other items provided completely free of charge to the veteran in honor of his/her service to our country.


These heroes have earned the right to visit the memorials erected in Washington D.C. to honor them, their service, and their place in our nation’s history.


We’re hopeful that you might consider joining the effort by serving as a sponsor or simply making a contribution at one of our convenient drop-off locations during the Operation Honor Flight Day of Giving on October 10th.
